Team of trainers

The National Youth Council of Catalonia (CNJC) has a team of people who are dedicated to training and facilitation and is available to the organisations. This team is tasked with providing different types of training and facilitation to any organisation that requests these services.

The CNJC's team of trainers and facilitators strives to cater to the training needs of the association world by providing training in key topics and by assisting organisations and groups of young people in different processes.

It makes every effort to provide quality contents and to explore relevant topics for young people in-depth to ensure that youth associations and groups of young people bring these learnings into their day-to-day activity.

You can check out the training and facilitation catalogue here.

Training paths

Juntes ho podem tot [United we can overcome anything]

This is a path that works on association-forming as a tool for youth participation. It can be addressed from a theoretical standpoint (why partner up, for what purposes and forms of entities). It also furnishes entities with tools to improve their internal (group) management and for project management purposes (plans of work, strategic plans).

Transforming ourselves, through feminism

This training path covers the beginnings of mainstream feminism and goes on to take in all the critical analyses straddling decolonial and anti-racist perspectives so that entities can work on the possible contribution that can be made by feminism, through its diverse approaches, to tackle the different challenges faced by them (acknowledgement of roles, inclusion of cultures and origins, question and answer dynamics…).

How to be politically influential and not die in the attempt

Being politically influential is a key tool for young people’s participation and self-organisation. It constitutes an exercise in giving sovereignty back to the citizens and is a learning process in itself.
We, as youth organisations, both formal and informal, have the capacity and the power to think, plan and promote political influence campaigns spearheaded by young people in our towns, districts and cities. Let us put this into practice in order to be an active part in social transformation!

Let’s politicise our unease: Towards the collective management of emotions

This path offers a continuous way to explore the emotional health of the group requesting it in depth. On the one hand, the proposal seeks to accompany and facilitate group processes based on the entity’s specific needs, and on the other to complement this with theoretical reference frameworks that conceptualise and analyse the group’s life experiences. The path is intended to bring about a genuine transformation in the entity by working on aspects such as emotional awareness-raising, non-violent communication and group structure and operation, to name but some. Both individual (the person) and collective (the group) dimensions are approached with a view to generating specific strategies and actions for change.
